Confidence in IELTS Speaking comes from habits, not memorised answers. Here are simple habits that work.
12 habits for better speaking
- Answer with 2–3 sentences (not one word)
- Use examples from Sylhet / daily life
- Record yourself for 2 minutes daily
- Fix 1 pronunciation issue per week
- Learn 10 topic vocab words weekly
- Practice Part 2 with a timer
- Use linking words naturally (because, however, for example)
- Don’t stop—rephrase if stuck
- Practice “follow-up” questions
- Speak slowly and clearly
- Use simple grammar accurately
- Get feedback from a trainer
